Fans of the Fate series are in for a treat this winter. Aniplex of America has announced a free advanced screening of the first four episodes of Fate/strange Fake (English subtitled) at select Alamo Drafthouse Cinema locations across the U.S. on December 9.
The special event will include a limited themed menu featuring exclusive food and drink items inspired by the series, plus a free giveaway for attendees. Fans can reserve their spot starting November 25, 2025, at 9:00 AM PST through the Alamo Drafthouse website, with the purchase of a food and beverage voucher that can be redeemed or refunded at the show.
Participating Alamo Drafthouse Locations:
- Dallas – Cedars

- New York City – Downtown Brooklyn
- Omaha – La Vista
- Austin – Mueller
- San Antonio – Park North
- Raleigh – Raleigh
- Denver – Sloans Lake
- San Francisco Bay Area – Valley Fair

The screening comes ahead of the official Fate/strange Fake anime launch in January 2026, following the earlier TV special Fate/strange Fake -Whispers of Dawn- produced by A-1 Pictures in July 2023 and the sneak peek of Episode 1, “The Heroic Spirit Incident,” in December 2024.
Written by Ryohgo Narita (Baccano!, Durarara!!) and published by Dengeki Bunko, Fate/strange Fake introduces a new Holy Grail War—this time set in the United States. The series reimagines the battle between Masters and Servants in a chaotic clash full of deception, power, and mystery.
The anime adaptation is being produced by A-1 Pictures with directors Shun Enokido and Takahito Sakazume (known for their work on Fate/Grand Order trailers), screenplay by Daisuke Ohigashi, and music composed by Hiroyuki Sawano (Attack on Titan, Blue Exorcist).
With Fate/strange Fake finally making its full TV debut this January, the December screening gives fans the perfect opportunity to experience the first four episodes on the big screen before the series’ official release.
