Alice to Therese no Maboroshi Kōjō Reveals New Trailer and Key Visual

Alice to Therese no Maboroshi Kōjō, an original film from MAPPA, has dropped an exciting new trailer about a world where time has stopped.

Two years after the first announcement and a year after the first trailer dropped, MAPPA has breathed some life into Alice to Therese no Maboroshi Kōjō.

During MAPPA Stage 2023, the animation studio revealed a new trailer and key visual for the original film. As per Anime News Network, Alice to Therese no Maboroshi Kōjō is set in a town where time has frozen due to a steelworks factory explosion. The residents of the town vow are forbidden from changing in the hopes this may right the world. When mysterious classmate Atsumi leads protagonist Masamune, a third-year middle school student, to the fifth blast furnace of the factory, he finds a strange wolf-like girl. This pivotal meeting triggers the beginning of the end.

Mari Okada will write and direct Alice to Therese no Maboroshi Kōjō. Okada will also write a novel which releases on June 13. Tadashi Hiramatsu will act as the assistant director with Yuriko Ishii as the character designer and chief animation director. Kazuki Higashiji will serve as the art director and Masaru Yokoyama will come on as the composer.

Alice to Therese no Maboroshi Kōjō releases on Sept. 15, 2023.
