Terrorist Webcomic Terror Man Announces Anime Adaptation

Terror Man reveals a teaser for the upcoming anime adaptation about a terrorist who saves people.

Korean webcomic Terror Man will receive an aeni, Korean for animation, adaptation.

As announced by TVING, Terror Man released a short 25-second teaser of the protagonist. A crashing sound, leads to an aerial shot of a bridge. A plume of dark smoke rises into the sky from the middle with sirens blaring in the distance. Once the smoke clears, a young man with a gas mask cocks a gun straight at an unknown person. Striking eyes glare out from the mask before the trailer closes, leaving viewers with only the sound of the young man breathing heavily, muffled and amplified by the gas mask. Studio Bazooka and Dr. Movie will produce the anime adaptation.

Written by Han Dongwoo with Ko Jinho as the artist, Terror Man follows Min Jungwoo, a young man who has a curious ability called “Eyes of Misfortune.” This power allows him to see and stop misfortune before they happen. However, the more he tries to save people, the more people fear him, regarding him as a terrorist. Soon, Jungwoo slips further and further into despair, all the while as he tries to balance the role of being a hero and a terrorist. Terror Man is completed with two seasons.

Terror Man is currently not available to read via online platforms for English readers, but the first volume is up for pre-order and will release on June 27, 2023.
