As reported by Shoujo Crave, a recent domain registration for the hit anime series indicates an anime film is in the works. The domain, yamada999-movie[dot]com, which is registered to Sakura Internet, Inc., has no content at the moment.
My Love Story With Yamada-kun at Lv999 follows the story of Akane, a young woman and college student who is unceremoniously dumped by her cheating boyfriend. In an attempt to distract herself from her heartbreak, she logs on to play Forest of Savior (FoS), an MMORPG that she used to play with her ex-boyfriend. It is in FoS that she meets Yamada-kun, who happens to be a member of her guild. As the story progresses, Akane begins to get to know her other guild members and forms genuine friendships with them, including the enigmatic Yamada, a professional gamer whom her ex is a huge fan of.
