Apothecary Diaries Teases Big Announcement

Apothecary Diaries teases an announcement for Season 2, ahead of its reported 2025 release.

In a Facebook post by Anime Dork, the announcement regarding Season 2 is reportedly set for sometime around Oct. 22. At this time, no further information is available.

Apothecary Diaries began as a light novel series by Natsu Hyuga and illustrated by Touko Shino. The English adaptation of the light novel is available to read in English through J-Novel Club. Meanwhile, it also received an anime adaptation, which first aired in 2023 and streams on Crunchyroll.

The takes place in fictional China and follows a young girl named Maomao, who works as an apothecary in the red light district. She is kidnapped and sold to the Palace as an indentured servant, but due to her inquisitive nature and experience working as an apothecary, she finds herself tangled up in solving various mysteries for the royal court.
