Pyramid Game Drama Adaptation Unleashes Tense Trailer

Pyramid Game has dropped a trailer for the upcoming drama adaptation. Pyramid Game airs on Feb. 29.

TVING has released a trailer for the upcoming drama adaptation of Pyramid Game. The trailer introduces Seong Suji, a transfer student who finds herself embroiled in a dangerous game where those who rank lower in the poll are subjected to brutality. Suji ranks at the bottom of the popularity poll and immediately discovers the perils of being ranked F. She vows to find a way to escape her ranking.

Park Soyeon directs the adaptation with Choi Soo-i writing the script. Kim Jiyeon, a member of the K-Pop group WJSN, will star as Seong Suji. Jang Da-ah will portray Baek Harin, Ryu Da-in will play Myeong Jaeun, Shin Seul-ki will portray Seo Doah, and Kang Na-eon will play Im Yerim.

Based on the original webtoon series written and illustrated by Dalgonyak, Pyramid Game launched on the English platform on Feb. 17, 2021 and is completed with 105 chapters. An anime adaptation is set to premiere sometime in 2024 to 2025 on Laftel.

Pyramid Game airs on Feb. 29. The series is available to read on WEBTOON.
