Studio WIT Shares Spy x Family Season 2 Update

Tetsuya Nakatake, one of the co-founds of Wit Studio, recently revealed that they were hard at work on Spy x Family‘s second season and movie, both of which are set to release in fall 2023.

The initial announcements for the hit anime’s second season and film dropped in December of last year, when they confirmed the 2023 air date. A trailer, released around Christmas, showed the Forgers on a vintage airplane, with Anya declaring, “Eigakan ni odekeke!!” or “Let’s go on an ooting to the theater!”

Spy x Family‘s manga is going from strength to strength, having crossed 21 million copies sold last summer and hitting the New York Times Best Sellers list in November 2022 and January of this year. With Nakatake’s announcement, Spy x Family fans can rest assured 2023 will be another great year for the anime.
