Rosmei Hit Bulls-Eyes With Four More Danmei Previews

Rosmei is locked and loaded with these previews of four more of their upcoming danmei releases.

Indie publisher Rosmei shared a preview of four of their highly-anticipated danmei novels: Wine and Gun, Everyone Loves the Cannon Fodder, Drowning Sorrows in Raging Fire, and Global Examination. The publisher noted the final version may differ from the preview. Readers received the previews with excitement and appreciation for Rosmei’s consideration for the novels’ fans.

Written by Mengye Mengye, Wine and Gun follows a forensic pathologist named Albarino who secretly lives a second life. By day, he investigates crime scenes and solves crimes. By night, he dons on the identity of a psycho serial killer. One night, Albarino is shocked to find the person he’s been targeting for three months winds up dead — and not by his own hands. Xiao will translate the novel into English. Wine and Gun will have seven volumes.

Drowning Sorrows in Raging Fire (Lie Huo Jiao Chou) combines urban fantasy and mythology. The story follows Xuan Ji, a millennial who starts a new job at the Reparations Department of the Deviant Control Office and meets Sheng Lingyuan, a mysterious man who had died long ago and was inexplicably summoned back to the mortal world. As the two work together to unravel the mystery behind Sheng Lingyuan’s return, the two discover they share a past rife with conspiracy. SassyStrawberry will translate. He Zhi Shan Chuan (鹤止山川) will illustrate the artwork. Drowning Sorrows in Raging Fire will have five volumes.

Written by Musuli, Global Examination is a survival game series. Global Examination begins with You Huo and his family getting pulled into an examination with nonsensical rules that they have to figure out lest they die. There, he meets Invigilator 001 who seems hell-bent on giving You Huo a headache. Unbeknownst to them, this isn’t the first time the two have met. Global Examination will have four volumes.

Written by Qie Zai Shan Yang, Everyone Loves the Cannon Fodder follows two young men who transmigrate into each other’s bodies. Song Yu finds himself in the body of the protagonist’s childhood friend of the novel that had infuriated him enough that he quit reading. This character was destined for a short-lived life. What’s more, his body has been taken over by the main character from the novel, Xie Sui. Everyone Loves the Cannon Fodder will have three volumes.
