Dan Da Dan Anime Adaptation Coming in 2024
The popular supernatural manga series Dan Da Dan has announced a 2024 anime adaptation produced by Science Saru.
Dan Da Dan, also written as Dandadan, has received an anime adaptation set for sometime in 2024.
According to the announcement, which comes directly from the production company Science SARU, the TV anime will feature music by kensuke ushio, character designs by Naoyuki Ond and creature designs by Yoshimichi Kameda. Additionally, Fuga Yamashiro will helm the series as its director.
In addition to the release of a teaser visual, Science Saru also revealed a 44-second trailer teasing the adventures of the main characters Momo Ayase and Ken Takakura as they take on the paranormal.
Rumors of a Dan Da Dan anime adaptation first began in the early summer of 2023. The rumors received further life when fans of the supernatural manga series noticed a Twitter (now known as X) account and website were registered. At the time, fans speculated popular studios Wit or Bones would handle production. Attack on Titan (Seasons 1-3) and Vinland Saga are among Wit Studios’ hits, while Bones has previously worked on the iconic Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood and Ouran Highschool Host Club. While the two rumored studios certainly have impressive works under their belts, the actual company adapting Dan Da Dan, Science Saru also features an impressive list of anime series, including Scott Pilgrim Takes Off, Devilman: Crybaby and Super Shiro, a Crayon Shin-chan spinoff.
Dan Da Dan‘s anime adaptation will premiere sometime in 2024.
