Heaven Official’s Blessing S2 English Dub Arrives on Crunchyroll
The English dub of Heaven Official’s Blessing Season 2 is now streaming on Crunchyroll.
The English dub of Heaven Official’s Blessing Season 2 has officially launched.
As reported by Crunchyroll, the English dub of the second season of the hit danmei donghua Heaven Official’s Blessing landed on on the streaming platform on Nov. 8 with a special two-episode premiere.The dub welcomes Howard Wang and James Cheek back as Xie Lian and Hua Cheng, respectively. Reagan Murdock voices the Heavenly Emperor Jun Wu. Jacob Eiseman will take turns with Anjali Kunapaneni on the male and female versions of Wind Master Shi Qingxuan. Aaron Campbell, Wendee Lee, Branden Loera voices Pei Ming, Ling Wen, and Lang Qianqiu, respectively. Lucien Dodge and Phil Song portray Mu Qing and Feng Xin.
Based off the best-selling novel series written by Mo Xiang Tong Xiu, Heaven Official’s Blessing received a donghua adaptation in October 2020 with Li Haoling as the director. Season 1 contained 11 episodes and a special episode that released on Feb. 14, 2021. The story follows a thrice-ascended god named Xie Lian who unravels the mysteries of his past from 800 years ago when he meets a red-robed man named Hua Cheng who has been waiting for Xie Lian for a long time.
Season 2 will follow Xie Lian as he travels deep into the Ghost City, the dangerous realm ruled by one of the Four Great Calamities, Hua Cheng who has people quaking in their boots when they hear his moniker Crimson Rain Sought Flower. The youth who stayed with him for a night had long disappeared, leaving behind only a silver ring on a necklace chain, but Xie Lian may reunite with him sooner than he may think. Ding Youxi voices Xie Lian in Season 2 with Ma Zhengyang voicing Hua Cheng.
Season 2 of Heaven Official’s Blessing is currently streaming on Crunchyroll in both dub and sub forms.
