Toilet-Bound Hanako-kun’s Spinoff After School Hanako-kun Announces October Premiere

Earlier this month, Toilet-Bound Hanako-kun began a countdown on its official Twitter page, leading fans to wonder what that meant.

Hanako-kun fans don’t have to wonder any longer, thanks to a special notice posted by the Mokke! The series will receive a spinoff based on the manga After School Hanako-kun, which is set for an Oct. 12 premiere.

After School Hanako-kun is a spinoff manga written by AidaIro. The story follows the titular Hanako-kun and his assistant, Nene Yashiro, as they find ways to keep themselves entertained in the absence of any supernatural issues. They play games, swap genders and so much more in the fun spinoff manga, which will soon become a short TV anime.

In December 2022, a “restart” of the Toilet-Bound Hanako-kun anime was announced. However, this does not appear to be related to that project.

After School Hanako-kun will premiere on Oct. 12 and stream on Crunchyroll within the United States.
