Painter of the Night Season 4 Returns from Hiatus
Painter of the Night is finally coming back!
The wait is over: Painter of the Night is coming back after taking a break.
ByeonDuck, the creator behind the successful historical BL webcomic Painter of the Night, revealed Chapter 119 would release on Aug. 18. The webcomic went on a month-long hiatus on July 7, due to the creator’s health issues, resulting in them needing to recuperate after their leg surgery. The notice had stated the next chapter would be “uploaded sometime around August.”
In their notice, ByeonDuck had been a little regretful for going on hiatus as “the end of the story is right around the corner.” The creator continued, “I know you [the fans] must be disappointed, but I do hope you will be there to see the end of Seungho and Na-kyum’s story.”
Baek Nakyum paints erotic paintings of men under a pseudonym and harbours a crush on his mentor Sir Inhun who disapproves of his choice career. Nakyum catches the attention of the depraved Yoon Seungho and the latter immediately accosts Nakyum as his private painter, to recreate his nightly exploits.
