TRIGUN Producer Gives Link Click OP Stamp of Approval
Trigun Stampede’s producer Yoshihiro Watanabe reveals he watched Link Click’s opening sequence with the BG Director, and here’s what they had to say about it.
Trigun Stampede‘s producer Yoshihiro Watanabe gave his stamp of approval for Link Click Season 2’s opening sequence in a tweet on July 18.
In his tweet, Watanabe revealed he was hanging out with the BG Director when they watched Link Click’s opening sequence together. Watanabe quoted the Director as saying, “That’s so fucking cool.” Although Watanabe didn’t comment on the opening sequence himself, that he watched the donghua and tweeted about the Director’s response could be perceived as his approval of the series’ impressive opening animation.
Link Click Season 2 premiered on Crunchyroll on July 2 at Anime Expo, with Director Li Haoling in attendance. Fans previously expected a spring release for the hit donghua series based on educated guesses using Season 1’s release window as the framework for their estimation.
Link Click is an original donghua by Bilibili that debuted in 2021, with Funimation streaming the series internationally. The series follows two friends, Cheng Xiaoshi and Lu Guang, as they run the Time Photo Studio with their friend and landlord, Qiao Ling. By simply clapping hands while looking at a picture, Cheng Xiaoshi and Lu Guang can use their powers to go back in time and help ease their clients of any regrets they have.
Fans can watch Link Click on Crunchyroll, with new episodes releasing every Thursday.
