About Loving Yamada at Lv999, Under the Oak Tree and Cherry Blossoms After Winter
Loving Yamada at Lv999, written and illustrated by Mashiro, debuted on Comic Smart’s Ganma! manga website in March 2019. The series follows college student Akane Kinoshita who recently got dumped by her boyfriend. A casual gamer, Akane attends an offline event of the MMORPG Forest of Savior and meets a handsome and seemingly emotionless high school student named Akito Yamada who is part of the same guild as Akane and is well-known in their community as a pro-gamer. Despite a rather rough start with Akane ending up drunk at Yamada’s house, the two grow closer.
The manga is available to read digitally on Mangamo.
Written by Kim Suji, the Under the Oak Tree novel follows Maximilian Croyso who has been forced into a marriage with Lord of Anatol Riftan Calypse by her father. Maxi has difficulty communicating due to her anxiety and stuttering, contributing to her lack of confidence. Her wedding night with Riftan ends abruptly when the commander leaves the next morning and does not return until three years have passed. The story follows the development and growth of their relationship and Maxi slowly gaining some of her confidence back as she settles into her new life as the Lady of Anatol.
Under the Oak Tree is available to read digitally on Manta Comics through the novel and webcomic versions. Season 3 of the webcomic releases on July 21.
Written and illustrated by Bamwoo, Cherry Blossoms After Winter follows Haebom and Taesung who were once childhood friends. However, ever since Haebom’s parents died and he moved in with Taesung and his mom, Taesung has been keeping his distance and avoiding Haebom. That situation doesn’t feel like it will until they move into their last year of high school and end up as classmates.
Cherry Blossoms After Winter is available to read digitally on Tappytoon.
