Horimiya: The Missing Pieces Drops Emotional Second Concept Trailer
A second PV for Horimiya: The Missing Pieces has revealed the upcoming series will hit fans in the feels.
Who’s prepared to get hit with “The Feels” when Horimiya: The Missing Pieces premieres?
Horimiya: The Missing Pieces revealed a second concept trailer titled “Emo-kyun,” which translates to “The Feels.” Set to an instrumental track, the trailer flashes through different scenes at school and between Hori and Miyamura as they spend time together. With Horimiya: The Missing Pieces acting as a missing link between the first season and the manga, the trailer offers scenes from the manga that the series will adapt, including the “Sports Festival” arc.
Produced by CloverWorks, Masashi Ishihama will direct Horimiya: The Music Pieces with Takao San, Haruko Iizuka, Akira Takata, Hiromi Ogata and Yumi Shimizu as the chief animation directors. Iizuka will also design the characters. Masaru Yokoyama will oversee the music as the composer.
Originally written and illustrated as a web manga series by Hiroki Adachi, titled Hori-san to Miyamura-kun, the original received a manga adaptation by Daisuke Hagiwara where it was renamed to Horimiya. The series received an anime adaptation, produced by CloverWorks, in January 2021. Although the manga concluded in July 2021, new Horimiya chapters will be released when the 17th volume gets published on July 18.
Horimiya: The Missing Pieces premieres on July 1 and will stream on Crunchyroll.
