Demon Slayer Swordsmith Village Arc Announces Epic 70 Minute Finale

The final episode of Demon Slayer’s “Swordsmith Village” arc airs on June 18 for an extended 70 minute finale.

Demon Slayer will finish Season 3 with a dramatic 70-minute long finale.

Demon Slayer has announced Episode 11 of “Swordsmith Village” arc, titled “A Connected Bond: Daybreak and First Light” will be expanded to 70 mins. The first episode of the season, titled “Someone’s Dream,” similarly aired for a longer time of an hour. The series dropped a new key visual to promote the final episode, showcasing the key characters from the season.

Produced by ufotable, Demon Slayer aired its first season in April 2019 and garnered an outpouring of praise for its storytelling, characterization and high-quality animation. The studio produced the series’s first animated film, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Movie: Mugen Train, which set box office records during its run. Season 2 consisted of the movie condensed in seven episode and the adaptation of the “Entertainment District” arc. Adapting the “Swordsmith Village” arc, Season 3 premiered in April 2023. The recent episode, Episode 10 “Love Hashira Mitsuri Kanroji,” dove into the backstory of Love Hashira Mitsuri.

The last episode of the “Swordsmith Village” arc airs on June 18.
