There Are A Lot of Babies in Tadaima, Okaeri’s Adorable Trailer

Tadaima, Okaeri premieres on April 8 on the Crunchyroll streaming platform.

We’re getting baby fever from the second PV of Tadaima, Okaeri.

The second PV of Tadaima, Okaeri introduces new cast members and a third family. Shintarō Asanuma (Tokyo Ghoul‘s Nishiki Nishio) will voice Aoto Mochizuki. Toshiki Masuda (My Hero Academia‘s Eijirō Kirishima) and Kazuyuki Okitsu (Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?‘s Kashima Ōka) will portray twins Yūto Matsuo and Shūto Matsuo, respectively. Kaede Hondo (A Sign of Affection‘s Rin Fujishiro) will voice baby Michiru Mochizuki.

Previously, Tadaima Okaeri announced the voice acting cast for the Fujiyoshi family. Atsushi Tamaru (Charles Arbor from Seirei Gensouki) will voice Masaki Fujiyoshi, Toshiyuki Morikawa (Poe from Bungou Stray Dogs) will voice Hiromu Fujiyoshi, and Atsumi Tanezaki (Anya Forger from Spy x Family) will round out the family as baby Hikari Fujiyoshi. Taku Yashiro (Aoashi) will voice Yūki Hirai, Kōsuke Toriumi (Yowamushi Pedal) as Tomohiro Matsuo, and Konomi Kohara (Teasing Master Takagi-san) as Hinata Fujiyoshi, Hikari’s sister.

The anime will be helmed by Shinji Ishihira who has directed our BL anime series such as Super Lovers and Sasaki and Miyano. Studio DEEN will animate and produce Tadaima, Okaeri. Mina Ōsawa will be in charge of the character designs with Yoshiko Nakamura in charge of the series scripts. Ōsawa also worked on the character designs of Given while Nakamura was in charge of the series composition for Super Lovers and Sasaki and Miyano. Takayoshi Tanimoto performs the ending theme song “Tsunagiai” which translates to “Connection.” The opening theme song will be performed by MADKID and is titled “Futatsu no Kotoba” which translates to “Two Words.”

Written and illustrated by Ichi Ichikawa, Tadaima, Okaeri launched in Fushio Product’s Omegaverse Project anthology magazine and has been collected into four tankōbon volumes. The series is still ongoing after launching in November 2015.

Tadaima, Okaeri premieres on April 8, 2024 with Crunchyroll streaming. The manga is available to read in English by Manga Club.
