The Saye manhua has been officially licensed in English.

Tappytoon has announced it has licensed the Saye manhua officially in English, titled Run Wild. Originally written by Wuzhe, the novel has been adapted into a manhua featuring artwork by Zuoercongdong. The platform released the first 24 episodes.

Written by Wuzhe, Saye follows Jiang Cheng who is dumped into the Steel Mills by his foster family to live with his alcoholic and neglectful birth father. Unwanted and unloved, Jiang Cheng is counting down the days until he can finally escape his city. On his first day of arrival, he meets a little girl named Gu Miao who speeds through the streets on her skateboard and her older brother Gu Fei, who Jiang Cheng immediately develops a connection with. In a world where things are seemingly dark and depressing, Jiang Cheng and Gu Fei strive to be as brave as each other as they seek to find a life filled with light and freedom together.

Saye has inspired an audio drama adaptation, consisting of four seasons, although it is currently unavailable on MaoerFM. A donghua adaptation was also announced in August 2021, titled Warm Sun (暖阳) but has not revealed a release date or any other visuals other than the PV. A live-action adaptation, called Chasing the Light (左肩有你) was also announced to be in production but has similarly not announced a release date.

Run Wild is available to read on Tappytoon. Run Wild updates every Saturday with Chapter 25 out on Aug. 26.
