Spy x Family Releases High Stakes Code White Trailer
Spy x Family has unleashed the trailer for its original film Spy x Family Code: White. The movie premieres on Dec. 22, 2023.
If Anya tells us to “go to hell,” Spy x Family fans will gladly do just that.
TOHO Animation unveiled the trailer for Spy x Family‘s first original movie Code: White. Anya’s quote from the teaser trailer is uttered at the beginning, revealing her saying it as she’s poised to shoot her gun for a chance to win a prize. The cork bullet somehow manages to hit her on the head. The trailer showcases the family in a wintery village, filled with delicious food, diabolical plans, Loid evoking Ethan Hunt at one point, and Anya accidentally swallowing an all-important piece of world peace chocolate.
In addition, Spy x Family Code: White has released a new key visual with Anya racing out in the front with the antagonists looming in the background. Shards of glass with the reflections of the various characters fans have met in the first season surround her, Loid, Yor, and Bond. The movie has also welcomed Official HiGE DANdism back to perform the theme song “Soulsoup.” Official HiGE DANdism performed the opening theme song “Mixed Nuts” for the first season. The film will feature a new story and has welcomed new characters. Tomoya Nakamura will voice Dmitir, Kento Kaku will portray Luka, Banjou Ginga will voice Snijder, and Shunsuke Takeuchi will voice Type F.
Produced by CloverWorks and Wit Studio, Spy x Family Code: White is an original story with mangaka Tatsuya Endo credited for the original work and character designs. Endo will still be involved with the film as he will come onboard as the supervisor. Takashi Katagiri will direct the film with Ichiro Okouchi as the scriptwriter. Kazuki Shimada will design the characters with Kyoji Asano as the chief animation director. [K]NoW_NAMe will produce the music.
