Solo Leveling: Ragnarok has unleashed more than 100 chapters in its premiere of the highly-anticipated spin-off sequel.

According to Manga Mogura RE and Kakao Page, Solo Leveling: Ragnarok, the spin-off series starring Sung Jinwoo’s son Suho, revealed another PV on the same day the series dropped. The trailer foreshadows the unsealing of Suho’s powers with an intonation for Suho to be strong as he’s “my father’s only weakness.” Ragnarok has dropped a staggering 105 chapters (Chapter 0 and Chapters 1 to 104) launch day with a promise of more to come. The cover reveals Sung Suho with a familiar-looking insect Shadow by his side.

Chugong, the author of the original series Solo Leveling, will not be writing Ragnarok. Instead, a new writer named Daul will pen the spin-off series. Daul and Chugong have both written commentary in celebration of Ragnarok‘s release. According to @/ahjin_guild’s translation, Daul thanked Chugong for entrusting their world and story to them, writing, “It was a lot of pressure to write a new work following the world-famous Only I Level Up, but in the end, I’m happy to be able to show readers Only I Level Up: Ragnarok like this. I will do my best so that the story of Only I Level Up: Ragnarok, which continues, will give readers pleasure.”

Chugong similarly expressed his gratitude towards Daul and reminisced on his own experience when Solo Leveling began serialization. “I sincerely hope that Only I Level Up: Ragnarok can give readers a lot of fun,” Chugong wrote. “A new world of leveling up only for me, which author Daul will unfold! Congratulations on the start of a new story and I will cheer you on!”

In the side stories of the original series, Jinwoo chose to seal his son’s powers in order to give him at a chance of a normal life, consequently wiping his memories of his Shadow friends. Solo Leveling: Ragnarok follows Sung Suho who awakens his powers as the son of the legendary Shadow Monarch Sung Jinwoo.

A manhwa adaptation has not yet been announced for Ragnarok. The original Solo Leveling manhwa is available to read on Tappytoon and Tapas.
