Ruri Dragon Manga Set to Return From Hiatus

Ruri Dragon’s mangaka has announced the series is set to return from hiatus in March, with serialization to resume in April.

The manga Ruri Dragon will return from its hiatus in March, with digital serialization in Weekly Shonen Jump and Jump+ to resume in April.

Ruri Dragon mangaka Masaoki Shindo announced X, formerly known as Twitter, sharing that beginning on March 4, four chapters (chapters 7 – 11) will release in Weekly Shonen Jump. Thereafter, the manga is set to resume a biweekly simulpub schedule from April.

Ruri Dragon began as a one-shot manga in Jump Giga magazine in 2020. It went on to receive serialization beginning in June 2022, before receiving a single tankoban compilation. The manga tells the story of Ruri, a girl who wakes up with horns sprouting from her head. With the new development in her life, her mother reveals that she’s actually half dragon. Despite learning this huge secret, Ruri is committed to living a normal life.

Ruri Dragon is serialized in the Shonen Jump app.
