The anime news account AniTsumi shared that legal documents filed by Kodansha, the Japanese publisher behind the popular manga, indicate a second season is coming our way. Skip and Loafer is a slice-of-life comedy written and illustrated by Masaki Takamatsu. It follows protagonist Mitsumi as she pursues her dream of attending a prestigious school and making the world a better place. On the day of her high school entrance ceremony, she meets Shima, a tall boy who is popular with the girls, as she gets caught up in the commuter rush. Worried about Mitsumi, Shima decides to accompany her to school every day, despite his history of skipping classes.
