Painter of the Night Gets Ominous Trailer Ahead of Season 4 Premiere
A chilling trailer for Season 4 of the BL webcomic Painter of the Night paints a grim picture for Seungho.
LEZHIN Comics US released an English-subtitled trailer for the upcoming fourth season of the popular historical BL webcomic. The trailer is a moving version of the first few chapters of Season 4 with a narrator telling the readers, in a sly voice, the “painter Young Master Yoon adores” is suffering from both physical and mental trauma after his sexual assault. The narrator muses on who the culprit was before concluding with a small chuckle that he did not know. “Yoon Seungho has a lot of enemies, doesn’t he?” The narrator says. “And now that everyone knows the high-and-mighty Yoon Seungho has a weakness, this might only be the beginning.”
Written and illustrated by Byeonduck, Painter of the Night is one of the most popular BL webcomics on the Lezhin Comics platform. The story follows a young talented painter named Baek Nakyum who publishes erotic paintings of men under a pseudonym. Byeonduck launched Season 3 in August 2021 before taking a hiatus after its conclusion in April 2022.
