My Hero Academia Announces Season 7 With Sombre Teaser

My Hero Academia continues with Season 7.

My Hero Academia has announced Season 7 will be coming.

Announced at Anime Japan 2023, My Hero Academia will have a seventh season. My Hero Academia released a short teaser trailer with a bright emerald green outline of Deku. Inside the outline is every one of his friends from Class 1-A, symbolizing all those Deku feels responsible for protecting. No release date has been revealed yet.

Along with the teaser, My Hero Academia also revealed a key visual of Deku standing alone. His scarf, given to him by Gran Torino, wraps around half of his face, covering his mouth. He stares determinedly to the side, the picture of solitude and quiet strength.

My Hero Academia, written and illustrated by Kōhei Horikoshi, began serialization in Weekly Shōnen Jump in July 2014 with chapters currently bundled into 37 tankōbon volumes as of February 2023. Its popularity has spawned a successful anime adaptation, spawning six completed seasons, three animated movies and an upcoming live-action adaptation. The manga is currently in its “Final War” arc and Horikoshi has implied that the superhero series may be nearing its end.

Season 6 of My Hero Academia is currently streaming on Crunchyroll. The final episode of the sixth season, Episode 25 “No Man Is an Island,” airs on March 25.
