Look Back, PTSD Radio, Shuna’s Journey Among 2023 Eisner Awards Nominees
The 2023 Eisner Awards have announced Tatsuki Fujimoto’s Look Back and Masaaki Nakayama’s PTSD Radio have been nominated. Junji Ito has also been nominated.
The nominees for the 2023 Eisner Awards have been announced.
One of the most prestigious awards in the comics industry, the Eisner Awards recognize creative achievement in the industry. While the awards commonly recognize creatives in the US, the Eisner Awards added categories to recognize international talents. Among the nominees this year are Tatsuki Fujimoto’s Look Back, Hayao Miyazaki’s Shuna’s Journey and the critically-acclaimed horror mangaka Junji Ito.

Junji Ito received a nomination for Best Writer/Artist for his works Black Paradox and The Liminal Zone. Rachel Smythe’s Lore Olympus was nominated for Best Webcomic.
