Live-Action Adaptation A Shoulder to Cry On Gives a Trailer for Fans to Cry Over

A short trailer for A Shoulder to Cry On gets fans excited for the upcoming BL adaptation.

The K-Drama adaptation of A Shoulder to Cry On has dropped a trailer, highlighting the sweetness of first love.

Picturesque (@/KconPicturesque) revealed its first trailer for its upcoming adaptation of the BL webcomic A Shoulder to Cry On. A lilting melody in the background sets the tone for a high school romance between two classmates. The adaptation stars two members of Omega X, Jaehan as Lee Dayeol and Yechan as Jo Taehyun. Originally, the drama was supposed to air in November 2022 but due to Omega X’s legal disputes with their company regarding the abuse their agency allegedly inflicted on them, the drama’s premiere date was pushed.

A Shoulder to Cry On, written and illustrated by Dongmul, premiered on Lezhin Comics in October 2019 and finished with 28 episodes and 2 side stories. Lee Dayeol accidentally stumbles across two guys fooling around in the nurse’s office. Unfortunately for him, one of the guys, Jo Taehyun lies and tells the nurse that Dayeol was involved, now putting his archery scholarship at risk. Things get more annoying for him when Taehyun decides to follow Dayeol around.

Fans can read A Shoulder to Cry On on Lezhin Comics before watching the adaptation when it premieres on March 15.
