The BL webcomic Limited Run is coming back very soon.
Lezhin Comics Korea has revealed Limited Run will return with Season 3 in just a few short days on July 22. The platform celebrated the announcement with an animated video of the manhwa, showcasing a different dynamic between Yeon-oh and Jaehyuk than previously seen in the earlier seasons. Yeon-oh lies on top of Jaehyuk, their eyes locked on each other with the latter grasping Yeon-oh’s wrists, a breath away from a kiss.
Written and illustrated by Eeej, Limited Run premiered on Lezhin Comics on Dec. 25, 2021 and wrapped up its first season on April 22, 2022. Season 2 began four months later on Aug. 12 and concluded on March 10, 2023. In a creator’s note on April 29, 2021, Eeej initially planned for only two seasons for Limited Run, aiming for a 70-episode run but has since extended it to three seasons. Season 2 ended at Episode 60. In the creator’s note for Season 2, the creator confirmed Season 3 would be Limited Run‘s last, saying “I already had the framework in place when I began Season 2, so I won’t be adding much more to it.”
The series follows struggling rookie actor Seo Yeon-oh who has to find some way to pay off his gambling addict father’s growing mountain of debt. An opportunity comes in the form of CEO Kwon Jaehyuk who offers to sponsor Yeon-oh in exchange for him pretending to be his lover.
Season 3 of Limited Run will be available on Lezhin Comics Korea. Lezhin Comics US has not announced whether it would simulpub the chapters as of this article’s publication.
