Lady Devil Drops First Season of Anime Adaptation
The steamy romance webcomic Lady Devil has made its anime debut with 10 episodes.
The anime adaptation of the medieval romance webcomic Lady Devil has been released.
LAFTEL dropped the first 10 episodes of Season 1 of Lady Devil without much warning, after its initial announcement in October 2022 that the series, along with nine other webcomics, would receive an anime adaptation. The adaptation features moving webcomic panels with voice-overs with the text sometimes superimposed over the characters’ faces for special effects.
Based on the original story written by B. Cenci, Lady Devil received a webcomic adaptation by Hanheun with illustrations by Fuki. Choco in November 2020. The story follows a young woman named Giovinetta who opts to make a deal with the devil to avoid entering in yet another loveless marriage. She gets more than she bargained for when the devil grants her wish.
