I Stan the Prince Creator Extends Hiatus Due to Health Concerns

I Stan the Prince has extended its break due to the creator’s health concerns and recovery. No return date has been announced.

Fans will have to wait a little longer before I Stan the Prince manhwa returns.

M Story Hub has announced the hiatus for I Stan the Prince will be extended from its original return window of August. In the notice, the publication apologized for the wait and explained that the creator, zoo sun, was still in the midst of their rehabilitation process and needed more time to rest. The publication requested for the readers’ understanding as “the writer’s health is more important than anything else.” A return schedule has not yet been announced but M Story Hub has promised the series will return with an interesting and high-quality story.

I Stan the Prince began serialization on Kakao on Feb. 17, 2020. Season 1 ran until Aug. 20, concluded with 45 chapters. The second season launched on the platform on April 8, 2021 and currently has 66 chapters. The serialization schedule changed a few weeks after Season 2 began to a five-week-serialization-one-week-break cadence and continued until Dec. 15 where the publishers released a notice, informing readers of a long-term hiatus due to a deterioration in both physical and mental health.

The last time the creator updated their Instagram was on June 17 where they posted an illustration of Angela beaming. They apologized for having not updated in a long time and asked that the readers take care of their health.

I Stan the Prince‘s Angela finds herself in hot water when her fanfic about the dethroned Prince Rayburn gets published behind her back and becomes a popular bestseller. What’s worse is that the imperial family has found out and have called for her head. The only way for Angela to save herself is to write a sequel to improve the prince’s now-ruined reputation but she has her work cut out for her after what she wrote about Rayburn in her first novel.
