Heaven Official’s Blessing Returns with Season 1 Audio Drama

The Heaven Official’s Blessing audio drama has been revived, right in time for Qixi (Chinese Valentine’s Day).

It turns out fans don’t have to wait 800 years to get more Heaven Official’s Blessing material.

As announced on the Tian Guan Ci Fu official Weibo account, the Heaven Official’s Blessing audio drama has returned. A five-minute trailer has been uploaded, in a cut-out art style. The audio drama uploaded the first two episodes on Aug. 21 and one episode will be uploaded each day from Aug. 23 to 29. Tian Guan Ci Fu will then upload one episode every Friday and Saturday starting from Sept. 1 with Season 1 ending on Sept. 29 with a two-episode update. Season 1 will contain 19 episodes and five mini theatres.

Tian Guan Ci Fu had inspired an audio drama adaptation and released one episode on July 15, 2022. However, the platform MaoerFM took down the audio drama as well as other audio drama adaptations, on account of “technical issues.” Su Shangqing (Cheng Xiaoshi in Link Click) will voice Xie Lian, Chenzhang Taikang (Lan Sizhui in Mo Dao Zu Shi) will voice Hua Cheng in the revival of the Tian Guan Ci Fu audio drama. The audio drama will adapt the revised version of the novel.

Heaven Official’s Blessing audio drama is available to listen to on MaoerFM with the first two episodes uploaded. Fans can also watch the first season of the donghua on Crunchyroll. The novels have been licensed in English and are published by Seven Seas Entertainment.
