Heaven Official’s Blessing Adds New Key Visual to Celebrate S2 Premiere
Heaven Official’s Blessing Season 2 has officially premiered and the donghua is celebrating with a new key visual.
Behold, the main characters for Season 2 of Heaven Official’s Blessing.
In honour of the second season premiere of Heaven Official’s Blessing, the official social media account for the donghua released a new key visual. The key visual showcases all of the main characters fans will meet in the season, with the mysterious Fang Xin Guoshi blown-up ten times in the background and other new characters such as Lang Qianqiu and Qi Rong included there. Ming Yi, Shi Qingxuan, and Jun Wu are also there with the latter as the only character who has his back turned to the audience. Hua Cheng and Xie Lian are standing close together in the front.
Based off the best-selling novel series written by Mo Xiang Tong Xiu, Heaven Official’s Blessing received a donghua adaptation in October 2020 with Li Haoling as the director. Season 1 contained 11 episodes and a special episode that released on Feb. 14, 2021. The story follows a thrice-ascended god named Xie Lian who unravels the mysteries of his past from 800 years ago when he meets a red-robed man named Hua Cheng who has been waiting for Xie Lian for a long time.
Heaven Official’s Blessing Season 2 is currently streaming on Crunchyroll. Episode 1 launched on Oct. 18. Season 1 is available to watch on Netflix.
