Green Apple Paradise Stuns Fans With Beautiful Animated 2.5D PV
BL webcomic series Green Apple Paradise has dropped a gorgeous PV showcasing its use of 2.5D animation.
A gorgeously animated PV for the BL series Green Apple Paradise has been unveiled.
Produced by Side Nine studio, an art and CGI animation studio, Green Apple Paradise released a short 30-second promotional video, using 3D rendering, with English subtitles. The PV opens with a boy with a red scarf wrapped around his neck walking to a classroom. The window is open, the wind blowing the curtain softly. The boy stops at a desk and reaches out to gently touch the name plate “Myeong Jaewon.” The PV describes a relationship that seems to run parallel and share the same time and space, yet don’t ever intersect.
Written and illustrated by greeneer, Green Apple Paradise follows Yang Maehwa who had a huge crush on Myeong Jaewon in high school but never confessed to him, believing that if he ignored his feelings, his love would eventually go away. Never did Maehwa think he would see Jaewon again when he entered his first year of university and never did he think Jaewon would sit next to him and act so friendly towards him.
It is unclear whether the PV is for an OVA or a series. Green Apple Paradise is available to read on WEBTOON under the official English name Our Paradise.
