Did anyone else’s heart break when they saw Yuki?
given is breaking hearts with a new trailer for the first part of the two-part sequel film series as it brings back a familiar face.
The trailer for Hiiragi mix appears to highlight more of Mafuyu’s friendship with Hiiragi, Shizusumi, and his relationship with Yuki. The sequel film also shows Uenoyama joining Hiiragi’s band as they perform on stage. Fans will be able to catch a sneak peek of the theme song “Super Ultra I LOVE YOU.” The caption for the tweet roughly describes the film as a story of the process of lonely children growing up. Shōgo Yano and Yuma Uchida voiced Mafuyu and Ritsuka, respectively while Masatomo Nakazawa and Takuya Eguchi voiced Haruki and Akihiko. After Season 1, Given released an animated film, focusing on the second arc of the manga, called Given. The film features the turbulent relationship between Akihiko and his ex-boyfriend Ugetsu, a violin prodigy. The film, directed by Hikaru Yamaguchi, released in August 2020.
