Demon Slayer Hashira Training Arc Gathers All Hashira for May 12 Debut

Demon Slayer‘s next arc, the “Hashira Training Arc” is set to premiere on May 12.
The PV for the “Hashira Training Arc” has been released, featuring all of the elite Hashira warriors as well as the grueling training process that all of the Demon Slayers have to go through. MY FIRST STORY x HYDE will perform the opening theme song “Mugen” which translates to “Dreams.” The first episode premieres as a one-hour special on May 12. Although it hasn’t been that long since the “Swordsmith Village Arc,” fans can get a quick recap with two compilation specials airing on May 4 and 5.
Some fans already had the chance to catch the premiere of the new arc in theaters as Demon Slayer screened the last two episodes of the previous arc, the “Swordsmith Village Arc” alongside the first episode of the “Hashira Training Arc” on Feb. 2 in Japan before embarking on a world tour. The film grossed $46 million worldwide.
Animated and produced by ufotable, Demon Slayer aired its first season in April 2019 and garnered an outpouring of praise for its storytelling, characterization and high-quality animation. The studio produced the series’s first animated film, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Movie: Mugen Train, which set box office records during its run. Season 2 consisted of the movie condensed in seven episode and the adaptation of the “Entertainment District” arc. Adapting the “Swordsmith Village Arc”, Season 3 premiered in April 2023 after it went on a world tour to promote the season. Demon Slayer announced the “Hashira Training Arc” shortly after the conclusion of the “Swordsmith Village Arc.”
The “Hashira Training Arc” will focus on protagonist the Demon Slayers training under the tough Hashira as they prepare to take on Muzan Kibutsuji and his remaining Upper Rank Kizuki.
The first three seasons are available to stream on Crunchyroll. Fans will also get to watch the first episode of the “Hashira Training Arc” on May 12 on the same platform.
