Demon Slayer “Hashira Training Arc” Announces Global Theatrical Premieres

Demon Slayer will premiere the first episode of the “Hashira Training Arc” in theatres on Feb. 23 for fans in North America.

The first episode of Demon Slayer “Hashira Training Arc” will have its theatrical screening all throughout February.

Demon Slayer will debut the first episode of the upcoming “Hashira Training Arc” along with the final episode of the previous arc “Swordsmith Village Arc” in special theatrical screenings starting as early as Feb. 22 for English-speaking fans. The first episode of the “Hashira Training Arc” will be an hour long and the season premieres in April 2024 on television.

Demon Slayer “Hashira Training Arc” will premiere on these dates. Aniplex, Crunchyroll, and Sony Pictures Entertainment will screen the first episode in both IMAX and premium large formats:

Produced by ufotable, Demon Slayer aired its first season in April 2019 and garnered an outpouring of praise for its storytelling, characterization and high-quality animation. The studio produced the series’s first animated film, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Movie: Mugen Train, which set box office records during its run. Season 2 consisted of the movie condensed in seven episode and the adaptation of the “Entertainment District” arc. Adapting the “Swordsmith Village Arc”, Season 3 premiered in April 2023 after it went on a world tour to promote the season. Demon Slayer announced the “Hashira Training Arc” shortly after the conclusion of the “Swordsmith Village Arc.”
