Demon Slayer Announces Adaptation of “Hashira Training” Arc With Stunning Hashira Visuals

Demon Slayer will adapt the “Hashira Training” arc, releasing teaser visuals of five Hashira.

Demon Slayer fans don’t have to wait long to hear about the adaptation of the next arc: the “Hashira Training” arc will receive a TV anime adaptation.

Following the end of the “Swordsmith Village” arc, which launched on June 18, Demon Slayer has revealed the series will adapt the “Hashira Training” arc. The anime also dropped a new PV, unleashing the gorgeous visuals of each of the remaining Hashiras. Beginning with Water Hashira Giyu Tomioka, the PV transitions to Insect Hashira Shinobu Kocho, Stone Hashira Gyomei Himejima, Wind Hashira Sanemi Shinazugawa and Serpent Hashira Obanai Iguro. The PV ends with a scroll of all eight still-alive Hashira, including the recently retired Sound Hashira Tengen Uzui.

Season 3, adapting the “Swordsmith Village” arc, aired in April 2023 and concluded with 11 episodes on June 18. In celebration of the finale, Demon Slayer held a special event in New York where various visuals from the season lit up Times Square. The last episode aired for an extended 70-minute finale.

The “Swordsmith Village” arc follows Tanjiro’s excursion to a small, secret village where the swordsmiths, responsible for forging the blades of the Demon Slayers, reside. While he’s there, Tanjiro meets two Hashiras, the effervescent Love Hashira Mitsuri Kanji and the quiet and cold Mist Hashira Muichiro Tokito. Peace is instantly shattered with the appearance of two Upper Rank demons from Muan’s Twelve Kizuki who have arrived with the purpose of cutting the Demon Slayers off from their source of power for good.

The “Swordsmith Village” arc is available to stream on Crunchyroll. No details around the release date for the “Hashira Training” arc have been announced.
