A video announcement shared by @/MangaAlerts reveals a dynamic and exciting collaboration announcement between the hit anime Chainsaw Man and UNIQLO. The retailer’s logo floats in white space, spinning like a die before thrilling music plays and the titular character jumps into view. Using his chainsaw arms, he slashes at UNIQLO’s logo, breaking it into smaller pieces before the text “coming soon” appears on the screen. At the time of writing, there is no information regarding the collection’s drop date or which countries it will release in outside of Japan.

UNIQLO’s Unique Anime Collaborations

This isn’t UNIQLO’s first significant anime collaboration. The retailer previously had successful joint ventures with Eiichiro Oda’s iconic series One Piece, Tatsuya Endo’s Spy x Family, and even Pokémon. The initial Spy x Family collection, which was initially released in Japan and went on to release globally. The collection sold out immediately, breaking the website and leaving fans searching for the drop’s very waku waku Anya pocket tee on third-party sites.

Chainsaw Man began as a manga written by Tatsuki Fujimoto before receiving an anime by MAPPA that premiered in October 2022. Fans can watch Chainsaw Man on Crunchyroll or stay current with the manga through the Shonen Jump app.
