Case File Compendium: Bing An Ben Captivates With Novel Cover
Meatbun’s Case File Compendium: Bing An Ben, perhaps her most darkly twisted novel, will release in February 2024.
The latest hit danmei series from New York Times bestselling author Meatbun (Remnants of Filth and The Husky and His White Cat Shizun) will be making its way into readers’ hands in February 2024.
Publisher Seven Seas Entertainment has unveiled the cover for the official English translation of Case File Compendium: Bing An Ben. The novel comes from prolific writer Rou Bao Bu Chi Rou (literally, Meatbun doesn’t eat meat). The first volume features art by talented artists Boki, who worked on the cover, and 丹可_DanKe who will work on the interior art. Ben Bingham is credited as the translator.
Written by Meatbun, Case File Compendium: Bing An Ben follows the turbulent relationship between He Yu and Xie Qingcheng. He Yu returns home with only one goal in his mind: to win the heart of his dream girl Xie Xue. Unfortunately, he has to contend with Xie Xue’s overprotective brother Xie Qingcheng. What’s more, Xie Qingcheng knows He Yu very well as he was once treated He Yu’s rare psychological disorder. When Xie Qingcheng discovers He Yu’s dark secret, it forces He Yu to confront his demons and his obsession with the doctor.
