Attack on Titan Wraps Up an Epic Story in November

Attack on Titan will end on Nov. 4, after a 10-year run.

After an impressive 10 year run, Attack on Titan will finally end in November.

Attack on Titan Final Season THE FINAL CHAPTERS Special 2 will launch on Nov. 4 (Nov. 5 internationally). The official social media accounts for Attack on Titan released a new PV to announce the premiere. Following the premiere, Attack on Titan will hold a worldwide celebration from Nov. 5 to 8. A metaverse space will also be launched.

Created by Hajime Isayama, Attack on Titan launched in Kodansha’s monthly magazine Bessatsu Shōnen Magazine from September 2009 to April 2021. The manga instantly became one of the best-selling series of all time and has over 110 million copies in circulation as of September 2021. The series has won numerous awards including the Harvey Award in 2014 and Best Shōnen Manga at the Kodansha Manga Award in 2011.

Attack on Titan has been brought to life by two notable animation studios. The first three seasons were helmed by Wit Studio and earned critical acclaim for its smooth action sequences. Production shifted to Studio MAPPA for the fourth and final season where it was split between three parts. The first part aired in December 2020 with the second part airing in January 2022. The third part was split into two specials with the debuting on March 4 as a one-hour special.

The story of Attack on Titan follows Eren Yeager who vowed to avenge his mother’s death and free humanity from the Titans, giant man-eating humanoid creatures. As Eren seeks revenge, he discovers more secrets about the Titans and his own family legacy and his priorities shift to finding a way for humankind to experience true freedom.
