Attack on Titan Unveils Final Trailer for Final Season THE FINAL CHAPTERS

The final, possibly ever, trailer for Attack on Titan has premiered. The last episode for the long-running series airs on Nov. 4.

It’s become a running joke in the Attack on Titan fandom as to how many “final”‘s the anime can put in its title before it really, truly is the final.

The second half of Attack on Titan Final Season THE FINAL CHAPTERS has released its final (?) trailer in anticipation of its rapidly approaching premiere date. The trailer promises brutality and excitement, mixed with tragedy and bitterness as the long-running anime series comes to a close. Special 2 of THE FINAL CHAPTERS, which will run for 85 minutes, airs on Nov. 4.

The opening theme song for Special 2 will feature Linked Horizon singing “2,000 years…or…To You, 2,000 Years From Now.” Fans do not have to worry about the lack of Attack on Titan material after the anime ends as there will be a global after-party event happening online. The event will run from Nov. 5 to 8. Amongst the many special events that are planned, the cast members and staff will discuss their experience up until the finale. Mangaka Hajime Isayama also revealed a new 18-page manga titled Bad Boy will be included in Vol. 35 and in the art book called FLY. Both launches on April 30, 2024.

Attack on Titan has been brought to life by two notable animation studios. The first three seasons were helmed by Wit Studio and earned critical acclaim for its smooth action sequences. Production shifted to Studio MAPPA for the fourth and final season where it was split between three parts. The first part aired in December 2020 with the second part airing in January 2022. The third part was split into two specials with the debuting on March 4 as a one-hour special.

The story of Attack on Titan follows Eren Yeager who vowed to avenge his mother’s death and free humanity from the Titans, giant man-eating humanoid creatures. As Eren seeks revenge, he discovers more secrets about the Titans and his own family legacy and his priorities shift to finding a way for humankind to experience true freedom.

The final chapter (maybe) of Attack on Titan drops on Nov. 4 on Crunchyroll.
