In a post to X, formerly known as Twitter, AnimeTV shared a promotional graphic for the anime’s second season. Roughly translated, the image reads, “Are you ready? Then, let’s go! Season 2’s production has been decided!!”

Based on the manga of the same name, A Returner’s Magic Should Be Special tells the story of Desir Herrman, who finds himself thirteen years in the past after dying in battle against the Shadow Realms. With this second chance, Desir embraces the opportunity to see his lost loved ones and formerly fallen comrades as he embarks on a quest to save the world.
