Solo Leveling “Arises From the Shadow” in Season 2 Teaser Trailer

Season 2 of the hit anime Solo Leveling is hyping fans up with its teaser trailer.

Revealed at Anime Expo 2024, Solo Leveling dropped its first teaser trailer for the second season “Arise From the Shadow.” The teaser trailer showcases Jinwoo taking on new enemies alongside his shadow army, including Igris. It also features Hiroyuki Sawano’s original soundtrack “4eVR.” Crunchyroll will stream the second season although no premiere window has been announced yet.

Solo Leveling, the original novel written by Chugong and the webcomic adaptation by DUBU, remains one of the most popular action webcomics. The story follows Sung Jinwoo’s journey of becoming the strongest Hunter in the world after he accepts the System’s offer in becoming a Player following his near-death experience. He soon gets thrown into a war against the Monarchs as the powerful beings seek to wipe out the human race. The webcomic ran from March 2018 to December 2021. 

Produced by A-1 Pictures, Shunsuke Nakashige directed Season 1 of Solo Leveling and will return to direct Season 2. Noboru Kimura oversaw the project as the head writer with Tomoko Sudo as the character designer and Hiroyuki Sawano as the composer. Taito Ban voices Sung Jinwoo (renamed to Shun Mizushino in the anime for Japanese broadcast), Reina Ueda voices Cha Hae-In (renamed to Shizuku Kosaka in the anime for Japanese broadcast), Hiroki Touchi voices Baek Yoonho (renamed to Taiga Shirakawa in the anime for Japanese broadcast), Genta Nakamura voices Yoo Jinho (renamed to Kenta Morohishi in the anime for Japanese broadcast), Daisuke Hirakawa voices Choi Jong-In (renamed to Shin Mogami in the anime for Japanese broadcast), Banjou Ginga voices Go Gunhee (renamed to Kiyoomi Gotō in the anime for Japanese broadcast) and Makoto Furukawa voices Woo Jinchul (renamed to Akira Inukai in the anime for Japanese broadcast).
