Spy x Family Announces Game for the Nintendo Switch
Spy x Family fans can soon experience Anya’s very waku waku life herself in the upcoming Nintendo Switch game Spy x Anya: Operation Memories.
Nintendo Direct announces a Spy x Family video game called Spy x Anya: Operation Memories for the Switch.
According to the trailer, players will control Anya Forger as she creates a photo diary of her life. Weekdays will be filled with school and family time in the evenings. On weekends, the Forger family will visit places like the beach or the art museum, providing ample opportunity for fun memories.
Spy x Anya: Operation Memories has a launch window of 2024, with no further information available.
Spy x Family is a manga series written and illustrated by Tatsuya Endo and published in Shōnen Jump+. VIZ Media publishes the manga in North America. Spy x Family tells the story of Anya Forger, an orphan who is adopted into a fake family assembled by Westalis spy Twilight, who takes on the identity of Loid Forger. The Forger family is key to Twilight’s mission to maintain peace between the rival nations Westalis and Ostania, with Anya acting as a way for him to get close to Donovan Desmond, the leader of the National Unity Party and the father of Damian Desmond, Anya’s schoolmate.
The hit series received an anime adaptation in 2022, produced jointly by Wit Studio and Cloverworks. Spy x Family Season 2 will premiere on Oct. 7, 2023.
